The 2013 Forum was held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Russell House on the main campus at USC

The Forum is held annually at USC to bring together researchers and health professionals interested in women’s health.  The Forum provides a local opportunity to focus on issues related to women’s health.  In addition, the Forum provides a venue for networking and exhibition of research in any aspect of women’s health through a poster session and selected oral research presentations. There are no fees for submission of abstracts or for attendance.

The 2013 Forum keynote presentation and panel discussion were centered around the impact of HIV on women in South Carolina as our state has consistently ranked among the top ten states in HIV rates with significant impact on the lives of women.

Forty-four abstracts were submitted and published. There were 130 attendees.
